Email Extractor Chrome Extension — Last updated: July 2026

What this extension does

Email Extractor scans the current webpage you are visiting for email addresses and displays them in the extension popup. It does not access any other tabs or pages.

Data we collect

We collect no personal data. Specifically:

• Emails found on pages are displayed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to any server.
• The extension stores only your Pro license key (if activated) in chrome.storage.sync, which is synced across your Chrome devices by Google. We do not have access to this data.
• We do not track which websites you visit.
• We do not use analytics, cookies, or any form of remote logging.

Permissions explained

• activeTab — reads content only from the tab you are currently viewing, only when you open the popup.
• scripting — injects the email-extraction script into the active tab on demand.
• clipboardWrite — copies emails to your clipboard when you click Copy.
• storage — saves your license key locally so you do not need to re-enter it.

Third-party services

If you choose to upgrade to Pro, the payment is processed by Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record. Paddle's own privacy policy governs the data collected during checkout. We receive only confirmation that a valid license was purchased.

Data retention

Your license key is stored in Chrome sync storage until you remove the extension or clear it manually. No other data is retained by us.

Children

This extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
